Gopalkala 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 Grated coconut
  • 250 gm Flattened rice
  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 60 gm Curd
  • 2 Green chillies
  • 100 gm Cucumber
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 tsp cumin seed
  • Salt to taste

Preparation:

  1. Soak the rice in water for about 15 minutes.
  2. Finely chop green chillies, ginger and cucumber.
  3. Heat ghee in a frying pan.
  4. Sauté cumin seed, ginger and green chillies in ghee.
  5. Pour this mixture over soaked rice.
  6. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  7. Gopalkala is ready to serve .
