Pumpkin Curry

Ingredients :

Preparation:

  1. Wash and cut the pumpkin into medium size pieces. 
  2. Heat the oil in a pan, sauté the mustard seeds, Bengal gram and fry till golden.
  3. Add onion, fry it becomes soft and add tomatoes. 
  4. Add cut pumpkin and fry it properly.
  5. Then add salt, sugar, red chili powder and cook it well. 
  6. Sprinkle some water and allow the pumpkin to cook until it becomes soft. 
  7. Add grated coconut at the end and garnish with cilantro.
  8. Serve hot with Roti or
    Plain rice.
