Liottya Maccher Jhal (Bombay duck with thick gravy)

Ingredients:

Preparation:

  1. Marinate fish with a pinch of turmeric powder and keep aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan, add onion and fry untill brown.
  3. Add garlic paste, turmeric-chilli powder, salt and mix well.
  4. Add rai paste and tomato & fall the masala fry well.
  5. Add fish and 1/2 cup of water.
  6. Cook it for 5-10 min in a low flame with cover.
  7. When the gravy become thick sprinkle coriander leave on top.
  8. Serve the hot dish with steaming plain rice.
