Narkel Dudh Ilish (Hilsha fish in coconut milk gravy)

Ingredients:

Preparation:

  1. Heat the ghee in a pan, sauté the chopped onion.
  2. Add onion paste, ginger-chilli paste and fry the spices properly.
  3. Add coconut milk, salt and sugar & mix properly.
  4. Add fish pieces and cook it for 10-15 min in a low flame with cover.
  5. When the gravy becomes thick, sprinkle the garam masala powder.
  6. Enjoy the recipe with plain rice.
