Corn-Paneer Pakoda

Ingredients:

Preparation:

  1. Crush the corn in a blender and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, sauté the chopped ginger and garlic and stir fry till pink.
  3. Add crushed corn, salt and stir fry.
  4. Mix milk and stir fry to get a creamy texture.
  5. When the corn is cooked, transfer to a round dish and cool.
  6. Add grated paneer, chopped onion, green chili, cumin powder, amchur powder, chopped coriander leaves and salt to taste and mix well.
  7. Add gram flour for binding and add a little milk if the mixture is too thick.
  8. Make even sized balls from the soft dough and keep aside.
  9. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the balls or pakoda's on medium flame till golden brown.
  10. Keep the fried balls on a paper napkin to soak excess oil.
  11. Serve hot pakoda's with mustard sauce.
